Happy March! This month just so happens to host a very special day associated with green colors and drunken festivities around the world. Here at Halo Customs, we're handing out the early to commemorate the results of Best of Forge 2014! Set your virtual booze aside for a moment, though, because before revealing the winners, we have to announce their earnings! In January, we revealed two prizes; an exclusive HC trophy worth 15 points and title as chosen by the community. Out of a total 43 votes, BK Forger Extraordinaire emerged with a landslide win! Now, grab that beverage again and do the thing as we present your choices for Best of Forge 2014!

Arkesya by Zaelkyria | Have you ever wondered where those darned Halo rings even come from? Well wonder no longer! Arkesya tours you across the exterior of an ancient forerunner structure where the Halo rings were first conceived. Find a seat, hop in Forge mode, and take a good look around this beautiful creation.
Underpass by AlexJ189 | When somebody mentions race in Halo, most imagine a thin, winding track floating high above ground. Among others, Underpass breaks this formula, offering players a serene picture of Ravine while cruising their mongoose around a gorgeous structure. Don't let the beauty fool you, though. This track has more in store than its looks, boasting several jumps and dat curve!
Constellation by The 0micron | Constellation is a flood design set within and around a lunar station in confines of Impact. The map not only offers an enjoyable experience for human players, but to flood players as well, with a wide range of methods to traverse the station and confuse their opponents. Keep a look out for those little green aliens. I hear they are cu... er, I mean evil.
Halo Tactics by DeadlockDrago | Halo Tactics reminds us that sometimes brain is more than important than brawn. In this minigame, teams must work together to position themselves advantageously before being frozen in place for a specific amount of time. Find yourself in a bad spot for even one turn and it could mean the end in this terrifying yet exciting minigame!

Breakwater by Flying Shoe ILR & MockKnizzle | Breakwater is a 10 to 12 player BTB map designed specifically around 1-Flag CTF. Touching on the hillside, urban theme featured in a previous map, Shoe and Mocknizzle have constructed both an immersive and solid big team battle experience.
Cryptic by Sgt x Slaphead | Cryptic is an asymmetrical 2s design supporting a range of different variants including oddball, extraction, and flag. Inspired by interior forerunner structures, Cryptic not only promotes the classic core experience you'd find in Halo CE, but it also hosts a familiar atmosphere seen in the game's third mission, The Silent Cartographer.
Checkmate by Sgt x Slaphead | Stealing the hypothetical throne this year, we have Checkmate! Checkmate is a core design optimized for 2s, supporting both slayer and oddball variants. The map boasts a hefty vertical design, with seven separate tiers of height winding around a central atrium. The consistent flow through this atrium presents a wide variety of movement options, forcing players to stay on their toes in this classic design.
