News Halo 5 BTB Community Playlist

Greetings fellow Halocustomians! At long last the BTB playlist has gotten a much-needed injection of new content. Starting this week, there are six brand SPNKrn' new forge maps available to be played in Matchmaking. Alongside the other maps already in the playlist, there are now 12 options in rotation, ensuring variety every time you play! Check out the new additions in the video above, and happy 'hogging!

News Community Breakout Playlist is Live!

Through the end of the January ranking season in Halo 5 (about two weeks), the first Community Forge playlist is available in Halo 5 matchmaking. This first playlist features Breakout maps created by some familiar names. Starting on January 28th, you'll have the opportunity to vote for your favorites on HaloWaypoint. The most popular maps will then be integrated permanently into the main Breakout playlist. For now, though, let's see which maps are enjoyed most by the HaloCustoms community. Feel free to select multiple maps in the poll above and weigh in with your thoughts on these maps and Community Forge playlists in general below.

Shouldn't it be Cartographers' Gift? There were five of us, after all!

Those who tuned in to Thursday's Video Game Awards will already be aware of some of what to expect from Halo 5's December update. The trailer gave us a glimpse of what's comingt in this upcoming pile of juicy Halo content.

Today's Halo Community Update serves up a hot plate of details on what to expect from what's shaping up to be quite a large addition to Halo 5: Guardians. Below, you can find an overview of what new treats you'll have access to once the update drops on "the week of the 15th".

News Halo Community Update Live Stream

343 Industries hosted their first live stream community update last night. According to Bravo, streams similar to this one will be broadcast each month in order to provide full coverage of the monthly Halo happenings. This time around, they discuss playlist updates, new features in The Battle of Shadow and Light, Big Team Battle, and more. Across the board this week there seems to be a fairly random offering on both platforms with a slight sports theme over on Xbox 360.

On Xbox One this week once again I'll be recommending yet another Killer Instinct fighter for just $1. It seems that they're selling a fighter a week for the game at 80% off, which is certainly an interesting proposition seeing how there aren't many games in the "fighting" genre currently on the system.
